What if Obama was born In Kenya?

What if Obama wins the election and it is determined that Obama is not a a native born US citizen?  Would Joe Biden become the next US President?

One more what if scenario.  What if the electoral vote is split and we have a tie. There is always a possibility that with 538 electors, there could be a tie with 269 votes for Obama and 269 votes for McCain. The vote would turn to Congress, with the House of Representatives voting for President and the Senate voting for Vice President.  Let’s say that the House votes for Obama for President and then the Senate votes for Palin for Vice President.  Later it comes out, that there is proof that Obama is not a native born US citizen, then would Sarah Palin be our US President?

Why doesn’t Obama submit his birth certificate to the public?  This would resolve the whole issue, if he is a native born US citizen.  It would be a tragedy, if the US elected a person who does not meet the requirement to be the president of the United States.  If Obama is elected president how could he swear to uphold the Constitution, if he is in violation of Article 2?

Why take a chance on voting for Obama, if he is not a natural born US citizen?  Use your vote wisely, vote for John Mcain this Tuesday.  If you want to vote for Obama, then wait till Wednesday.  :>

State declares Barack Obama’s Hawaii birth certificate is genuine

    By Associated Press
    6:43 PM EDT, October 31, 2008

HONOLULU (AP) _ State officials say there’s no doubt Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.

Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said Friday she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama’s original birth certificate.

Fukino says that no state official, including Republican Gov. Linda Lingle, ever instructed that Obama’s certificate be handled differently.

She says state law bars release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest.

    And this slightly different account:

Friday, October 31, 2008 – 11:51 AM HAST (That means Hawaii/Aleutian Standard Time)
    Obama’s Hawaii birth certificate confirmed
    Pacific Business News (Honolulu)

The director of Hawaii’s Department of Health confirmed on Friday what Barack Obama has been saying all along: the presidential candidate was born in Honolulu.

“There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obama’s official birth certificate,” said Chiyome Fukino. “State law prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record.”

Citing her statutory authority to oversee and maintain Hawaii’s vital records, Fukino said she has “personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.

“No state official, including Gov. Linda Lingle, has ever instructed that this vital record be handled in a manner different from any other vital record in the possession of the State of Hawaii,” Fukino added.

Lingle, a Republican, has been campaigning on the Mainland for Obama’s opponent, Sen. John McCain of Arizona.

Obama, a Democratic senator from Illinois, was born Aug. 4, 1961, in Honolulu. He graduated high school at Punahou School in 1979.

    End Quote:

Now that the Hawaii side of the story is settled, we should take a look at the assertion that Obama was born in Kenya.

This stems entirely from Philip Berg, who claims that he has an audio tape of Obama’s Kenyan grandmother saying that she was present at his birth in Kenya. But Berg has never played this tape or shown any other evidence to anyone. Wonder why? Perhaps because it does not exist.

  2. It’s fascinating to contemplate the event of a tie in the Electoral College.

It seems unlikely that the Senate would vote for Sarah Palin as Vice President, though, because there’s an effective Democrat majority in the Senate.

And it’s conceivable they might be able to think of a few better qualified candidates from within the Senate, too.

    Kind regards from London.

  3. I think it would be cool if the election ended in a tie, in regards, to the electoral college. Just imagine the media spin if that happened. It would be the story of the year.

I just don’t understand, that if Obama’s birth certificate is authentic, then why not release it to the press? It would end any speculation. I know many media reports that have said that his birth certificate from Hawaii is authentic but it still has not been released to the media.

Many people might argue that this violates his right to privacy. But let’s be honest, his right to privacy ended when he started in the race for the Oval Office.
